As the landscape of our community changes, growing deeper into the second, third, and later generations, we must remember our roots while adapting to the changing visions of our identity.
TAI Collective exists to advance the visibility and representation of Taiwanese Americans in all walks of life. We make sure the heritage, history, and language that shaped us are carried forward.
Three flagship initiatives, each to fill a gap in the community.
Making Taiwanese history accessible to a new generation through interactive online media, books, and other formats.
A heritage learner program for Tâi-gí (Taiwanese Hokkien), built for diaspora learners reconnecting with a language slipping away.
A traveling museum bringing specific pieces of Taiwanese history and culture into public spaces, for audiences who might never seek them out otherwise.
